BOISE, Idaho – The 2026 Famous Idaho Potato Bowl will be played Monday, Dec. 21, at 12:30 p.m. MT/2:30 p.m. ET at Boise State University’s Albertsons Stadium and will be televised on ESPN.
The nation’s northern-most bowl game traditionally features from the Pac-12, Mountain West (MW), Mid-American (MAC) and Sun Belt (SBC) conferences and is one of 17 bowl games owned and operated by ESPN Events, a division of ESPN.
“The Famous Idaho Potato Bowl has become one of college football’s most enduring and celebrated postseason traditions, and we’re excited to officially announce our 30th edition game date,” said Danielle Brazil, Famous Idaho Potato Bowl Executive Director. “Reaching this milestone is a testament to the incredible support of our fans, sponsors, volunteers, participating teams, and the entire Boise community. For three decades, the bowl has delivered unforgettable experiences both on and off the field, and our 30th year promises to be a special celebration of that legacy. We look forward to welcoming fans from across the country as we honor our history and create new memories.”
Tickets for the 2026 Famous Idaho Potato Bowl will go on sale later this summer through famousidahopotatobowl.com or the Boise State Athletics Ticket Office. Reservations for premium ticket packages are currently available, which include prime ticket locations, hospitality benefits in tent village and corporate exposure. Last year, Washington State defeated Utah State 34-21 behindg 334 yards passing and three touchdowns from Zevi Eckhaus.
