Famous Idaho Potato Bowl Set for December 23

BOISE, Idaho – The 2023 Famous Idaho Potato Bowl will be played Saturday, December 23, at 1:30 p.m. MT/3:30 p.m. ET at Boise State University’s Albertsons Stadium and will be televised on ESPN.

The nation’s northern-most bowl game traditionally features a Mountain West vs. Mid-American Conference (MAC) matchup. The Mountain West has been represented in eight of the last nine games, while the MAC has earned a spot in the game 11 of the last 13 years.

“We are thrilled to have a kick time on a Saturday afternoon just before Christmas this year to give us the opportunity to create an unmatched family-friendly experience that the Treasure Valley community and visiting fans have come to expect from the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl,” said Danielle Brazil, Famous Idaho Potato Bowl Executive Director. “Every event surrounding bowl week, including the game itself, serves as a celebration of college football and Idaho agriculture on the national stage and there is an open invitation for all to take part.”

Tickets for the 2023 Famous Idaho Potato Bowl will go on sale later this summer through famousidahopotatobowl.com or the Boise State Athletics Ticket Office.
