2012 Famous Idaho Potato Bowl to Kick-off on Saturday, December 15The Famous Idaho Potato Bowl today announced that the 16th annual game will be played on Saturday, Dec. 15, 2012 at 2:30 p.m. MST and televised on ESPN. The Bowl will be the second game of the inaugural day of the bowl season and the only one in its time slot.

Three Potatoes To Be Donated To Idaho Foodbank For Each Fan Attendee At The Famous Idaho Potato BowlThe Famous Idaho Potato Bowl today announced that the Idaho Grower Shippers Association will donate three potatoes to The Idaho Foodbank’s Eastern Idaho branch for each fan at the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl. With more than 28,000 fans projected to attend the game, the donation could be more than 84,000 potatoes or 42,000 pounds.
